1. Problem: My mobile won't turn on
| Possible Reason: |
You may have spilt liquid on it or submerged it in water resulting in water in the battery pack. |
| Solution: |
It may not be possible to repair. Try removing the battery, tipping the water out, drying it quickly with a cloth and then air drying it standing upright. NOTE: Do not dismantle |
| Possible Reason: |
The phone may have suffered from a large fall or impact. |
| Solution: |
If your mobile has been subjected to a strong impact or force, it may be damaged beyond repair. However, if there is hope, contact the manufacturer and see if they can take a look at it for you. |
| Possible Reason: |
Your battery may be flat. |
| Solution: |
Try recharging it and turning it on again. |
2. Problem: My mobile battery life is virtually non-existant.
| Possible Reason: |
When did you last remember to charge it? It simply could be low on charge. |
| Solution: |
Charge it overnight and then check the battery. It's also possible that the battery contacts may be dirty - gently clean them and try again. |
| Possible Reason: |
Ask yourself, do I write emails, surf the web, take photos, or download music frequently? |
| Solution: |
These tasks use far more battery than talking or texting and will drain your battery much faster. Also if your phone is bordering on prehistoric, the battery might have reached its lifespan. Maybe look at upgrading or getting a new battery. |
3. Problem: I can't make or receive calls.
| Possible Reason: |
Maybe you’re not calling the right number. Hey, don’t laugh, we’ve all done it! |
| Solution: |
Check the phone number again. |
| Possible Reason: |
Your SIM card may be damaged or not installed correctly. |
| Solution: |
Sometimes SIM cards can be dislodged - check that it's in the correct position, not dirty or cracked. |

My calls seem to be barred? |
| Solution: |
If barring is enabled, cancel the barring by referring to section security settings in your phone. |
| Possible Reason: |
Do you have clear view of the sky? Maybe you’re outside the service area. |
| Solution: |
Check signal strength. You can access the menu and follow the prompts on your mobile’s display. The higher the number of bars displayed on your mobile phone, the better the signal. You may need to move locations to pick up enough signal to make a call. |
4. Problem: My mobile rings but I can't hear it!
| Possible Reason: |
Your phone may be set to silent. |
Solution: |
Go into your mobile phone settings and change ring tone from silent to general. You can go into phone settings to change your ring settings. |
5. Problem: I can't save any new phone numbers, SMS or photos
| Possible Reason:
| Your internal memory and or memory card could be full. |
| Solution: |
Check that the SIM card memory isn’t full. Delete unused phonebook entries (like friends that are now foes) and photos and SMS with no sentimental attachments. |
